For more than three decades, Melissa Sulkowski has worked with individuals, families, and professionals navigating complex relational challenges. Her work centers on helping people think clearly within emotionally charged systems by identifying patterns, clarifying responsibility, and restoring steadiness in the midst of change.

Melissa’s background spans nursing, counseling, mediation, program leadership, and advanced training in conflict resolution and collaborative practice, providing an interdisciplinary foundation for her systems-oriented approach to family dynamics.
She has guided families through high-conflict transitions, separation and divorce, co-parenting challenges, and relational instability. She has also trained and mentored professionals including attorneys, counselors, guardians ad litem, and mediators who work within multilayered family systems and seek greater precision and confidence in their assessments and interventions.

Her work is grounded in one principle: Lasting outcomes require clarity. Through consultation, guided relational engagement, and practitioner mentorship, Melissa helps families stabilize their system and while strengthening professionals’ capacity to work effectively within them.

Experience & Leadership

Melissa has served in leadership roles within the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) and has been recognized for her contributions to interdisciplinary family work. She has presented nationally and internationally on relational leadership, child-focused practice, and complex family dynamics.

Melissa founded and led Nurturinse, a counseling and wellness practice established in 2001 that later grew to include a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and wellness professionals. She led the practice for more than two decades before transitioning ownership in 2023.

Her career reflects a consistent commitment to strengthening families and elevating the professionals who support them.
